One of the main benefits to the Yahoo site is the mailing list. An e-mail sent to the group list goes out to all on the list. It promotes quick interaction in the group. You can choose to use your personal e-mail address or if you would like to remain anonymous create a new Yahoo address, or if you already have an alternate Hotmail, or MSN etc. address you may use it; you will have to make that decision when you are signing up to the group.
